Step into Sussex  

Head out from the hotel and discover the beauty of Midhurst and the surrounding countryside with these carefully curated self-guided walking routes  

Midday: arrive at The Spread Eagle - train from London Waterloo, or jump in the car and head down the A3 to The Spread Eagle in the heart of the South Downs National Park

Leave: your luggage (and car) at the hotel, enjoy a coffee while choosing your route from Finding Footpaths: Circular walks around Midhurst, an inspiring collection of walks by local nature and walking enthusiast Michele Facer, before setting off to explore beautiful Midhurst

Bubbles: Return to the hotel and relax away any aches and pains in our hot tub or spend a quiet moment or two in our serene spa - you might even treat yourself to a 25 minute treatment (Aaah!!) created for instant relief for overworked legs and feet (£58)
